Screen Fringe

The Screen Fringe returns for 2024 to support producers, commissioners, and Film & TV executives in their engagement with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

What is Screen Fringe?

Screen Fringe is a concierge service exclusively available to TV and Film professionals visiting Edinburgh’s August festivals. With so much happening in such a short space of time, getting a head start on making the most of your visit is invaluable. If your priority is seeing the best new talent and ideas the festivals offer, our priority is to make that experience frictionless.

Accreditation through the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society is completely free and gives Screen Delegates access to an array of essential services. Support for Screen Delegates includes:

  • exclusive festival programme navigation and recommendations, built on expert industry commentary and advance research

  • contact information for key talent or their representatives, as well as other IP and development information not available to the general public

  • show itineraries and day planners tailored to Screen Delegates’ specific priorities, and access to the delegate-only complimentary ticketing service

  • invitations to professional events and showcases, as well as the Screen Fringe programme of case studies, industry panels, and networking sessions.

With recent high-profile Fringe-to-screen leaps such as Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), Jack Rooke (Big Boys) and Adura Onashile (Expensive Shit), as well as a decades-long list of globe-conquering success stories (Beyond The Fringe, The League of Gentlemen, Beats, Taskmaster, Fleabag), the Edinburgh festivals offer an incomparable opportunity to discover talent and IP ready for screen development.
