Skeletons wins Michael Powell Award at the EIFF ( 28/06/2010 )

Scottish Screen supported feature, Skeletons, has won the prestigious Michael Powell Award for Best New British Feature Film at the EIFF 2010. 

Skeletons was praised by the jury for exemplifying “the spirit of Michael Powell in its original vision and dark humour.” This year’s jury was headed by Sir Patrick Stewart and included actress Britt Eckland and director Mike Hodges. 

Skeletons was written and directed by Nick Whitfield and is his feature film directorial debut. The film was produced by Kate Myres and Tracy Brimm, Forward Films and Paul Welsh, Edge City Films.


Skeletons was supported by Scottish Screen and EM Media.
