Value for Money

The Financial memorandum between the Scottish Government and the Joint Board of Scottish Screen and the Scottish Arts Council, places responsibility on the Joint Board to establish arrangements to deliver value for money from public funds and to keep under review its arrangements for managing all the resources under its control.

Scottish Screen recognises its responsibility to achieve value for money (VFM) from all its activities. This commitment is core to Scottish Screen’s mission and vision, and is a recognised corporate commitment within the Scottish Screen corporate plan.

To meet this responsibility, sound controls for planning appraisal, authorisation and control of the use of resources have been established.
