Moving Image Education Website

www.movingimageeducation.org is the most comprehensive web-guide for teachers, artists or community workers developing moving image learning and teaching. Sponsored by Scottish Screen, the site has been developed by filmmakers and educational innovators D Fie Foe, and award-winning web designers Design Is Central.

The site’s structure reflects the widely adopted '3Cs' model of media literacy development - Critical understanding, Cultural access and Creative activity - in its ANALYSE-CREATE-EXPLORE sections, which offer all kinds of ways to develop moving image education, for all kinds of groups and ages. It also has a growing RESOURCES section, containing downloadable films, teachers’ stories and research.

Perhaps most important of all, the site continues to evolve, to stay up to date and ever more accessible, and the FORUM invites users to contribute to the site’s growth and development.
